Releasing Unresolved Stress

Stress is a normal part of everyday life. The stress response can be an asset for raising levels of performance during critical events such as a sports activity, an important meeting, or in situations of actual danger or crisis.

Your hands may sweat, your heart pumps faster, adrenaline rushes through your body. The part of the cell called the neuron ejects neuropeptides (amino acid chains), which carry their "get ready message" to other parts of your body where they become attached to their neuroreceptors. It's triggering the fight or flight response, which narrows your focus and accelerates your response speed and performance.

Then after the event ends, you normally calm down and forget the stress.

However, when something disrupts the natural letting go process, the mind and body holds onto this unresolved stress and continues to reproduce the same stress reaction when it's triggered by a stimulus or memory.

To show how memory can powerfully create real physiological responses...visualize biting into a lemon. Think deeply about its bright yellow color, its crisp, clean fragrance, and its bitingly sour flavor. Doesn't just thinking about it make your mouth water? The memory of your previous taste of a lemon replicates the same response in your body today even though you don’t have a lemon near you.

So it is with your emotional responses to unresolved stress that your body and mind "remembers". When confronted with a stimulus (the memory or a similar situation) the mind triggers the body to respond with the stress reaction. Often you'll be unaware of the connection. You'll have no idea why your body is feeling anxious, panicky or stressed and you won't be able to control it. Whether you remember the event accurately or not, your response is your emotional reality.

This unresolved stress causes real physiological problems such as - chronic pain, organ dysfunctions, neurological problems, musculoskeletal and immunological conditions, allergies, and headaches. It may also cause psychological problems such as - phobias, depression, anxieties, ADD / ADHD, nightmares, disruptive behavior, fear of public speaking and more.

NET (NeuroEmotionalTechnique) identifies and releases the source of unresolved stress

NET helps you re-engage the physiological response and complete the unresolved mind/body pattern of stress and extinguish it. By utilizing Manual Muscle Testing, a NET practitioner can pinpoint your very real physiological response (such as a racing heart and profuse sweating) to a stimulus (a situation that brings up the unresolved stress reaction memory). This accesses how emotions affect the way your body works. Muscles will usually test strong when a patient makes a statement with which he is in harmony, where in contrast a muscle will usually test weak when the patient says a non-harmonizing statement.

The practitioner determines which application is needed to correct the weakness. When the appropriate intervention is achieved, the previously weak Manual Muscle Test will now test strong. Follow up visits determines if the initial stress factors are stabilized.

A NET practitioner treats the disruption with a homeopathic remedy that uses the verified law of pharmacology Law of Similars - or like cures like. For example, a large dose of ipecac will induce vomiting. However, minute particles in a homeopathic remedy will stop vomiting. Once the system is brought back into balance, your body and mind can heal itself relieving you of the headaches, chronic pain, phobia or whatever symptom is caused by this unresolved stress.

NET doesn't "cure" the patient. Rather it removes blocks, allowing the body and mind to repair itself naturally.

Here are two videos that explain in detail how NET works: Background Concepts and Dynamics of NET and Two Minute Stress Relief Procedure Demo.
